MoodTo is a platform that connects travelers with locals to experience places through authentic human connections. It focuses on shared time, everyday life, and personal perspectives rather than tours or fixed itineraries.
MoodTo is not a tour marketplace. It does not offer scripted activities or packaged experiences. Instead, it enables flexible, personal encounters shaped by the local host and the real context of the city.
Mooders are locals who share their city by spending time with travelers. They are not tour guides, but individuals who offer a genuine view of daily life, culture, and personal ways of experiencing a place.
MoodTo was created to challenge checklist tourism and reduce overtourism. It promotes a more meaningful way to travel, built on presence, connection, and shared experiences rather than consumption.

1. By “authentic” we mean experiences created and led by local people, outside standard tourist paths.
2. Becoming a Mooder requires compliance with tax regulations and our terms of use. Learn more on the “Become a Mooder” page.
3. Quick flow: choose date/time, optional requests, in-app payment. The booking requires the Mooder’s confirmation.
4. The MoodTo app can be downloaded and used worldwide. However, currently only residents with tax domicile in France, Germany, Italy or Spain can become Mooders and offer experiences. Mood availability depends on the cities where Mooders are active.
